EXHAUST BELLOWS AND MANIFOLDS

Since its inception, Macroflex Inc. have been heavily involved in fabrication and distribution of diesel engine parts. Our fabrication capacity includes exhaust manifolds, bellows connectors, some gaskets and a variety of machined parts.

Macroflex Inc. fabricates a complete line of Alco exhaust manifolds and bellows connectors. Among them are 6, 8, 12, 16 and 18 cylinder 251-engine exhaust components (typically stock items).

For the EMD line of locomotive engines, Macroflex fabricates the exhaust expansion joints (both 10” and 14”) turbocharger screen assemblies.

Macroflex also supplies a variety of parts for GE locomotives. We fabricate the dual pipe exhaust manifold for the 7FDL engine (transition section, main sections, bellows connectors, clamps, gaskets and end caps) as well as selected components for the older style, single pipe manifold. Just as with the Alco line, we distribute a variety of non-manufactured parts sourced from our trade partners.

Macroflex owns patterns and produces turbo transitions sections P/N 128×1669-1 (stocked). We also supply a more common transition 128×1648-1 in both caste and fabricated options.

Selected exhaust parts are also available for other engine brands, such as Caterpillar, Waukesha, etc. Our markets include parts resellers, engine rebuilders, Class I railroads, Short Line railroads, marine companies, Coast Guard, and some OEM clients. Ours is a truly global market, spanning all continents.

We forged long lasting relationships with a variety of reputable manufacturers and are in a position to offer over 114,000 parts related to heavy diesel engines and locomotive components. Today, we service: Locomotive, Marine and Stationary (gen-set) markets.

We have the capacity to develop any existing or new OEM manifold sections or bellows connectors. Our multi-ply bellows are used in engine exhaust for marine main propulsion engines, onboard generators, auxiliary power units.
